THIS YEAR THE BELOVED THEATRE GROUP THE BENVENUTO PLAYERS WHO PRESENT EVERY YEAR THE CHRISTMAS PANTO WE ALL KNOW AND ENJOY, HAVE CHOSEN TO PRESENT THE FAMOUS SHAKESPEAREAN PLAY “THE TWELFTH NIGHT”!
Shakespeare is know to all of us students in the European school, especially those in the English section who study it in class in their L1 lessons. Nevertheless it always seems hard to understand as it was written about half a century ago! No worries! The Benvenuto Players have resolved this problem, as they will present a “modern English version” of the play, thus easier to understand. Regardless of that they will be keeping the Shakespearean costumes and setting to create an atmosphere just as if you were seeing the play in the 16th century!
