By the CoSup committee
CoSup stands for Conseil Supérieur des Elèves, which in English translates to 'The Student Union of All European Schools'. CoSup members meet four times a year to discuss various issues proposed by the board of governors, as well as problems or ideas put forward by students. The goal is not only to make decisions and projects in favour of the students, but also to bring all European schools together.
On Sunday October 4th, all the COSUP members from every European school attended their first meeting, where we discussed various issues that we believe need to be addressed across the European Schools. We brainstormed potential solutions to tackle these issues. We discussed bullying, which has a constant presence in our schools, as well as the environment, and particularly the importance of raising awareness of how our daily lives impact on our surroundings. Among the ideas proposed were the installation of solar panels and the further expansion of green working-groups and green-initiatives among the European schools.
Of course, COSUP has many more ideas to offer. Once all is discussed and we are given the green light to turn our projects and ideas into a reality, we cannot wait to share them with you.
